Radwell International expands in Belgium – Radwell’s expansion in Belgium set to create ten jobs at Sint-Truiden site

Sint-Truiden, Belgium, April 2024. Radwell International, a provider of new and used surplus, industrial electrical and electronic control equipment, is expanding its operations in Belgium. Radwell launched in Belgium with the acquisition of industrial repairs specialist K+S European Services in September 2022 and is now planning further expansion in Sint-Truiden, creating up to ten jobs for skilled electronic engineers and technical customer service staff.

The company with headquarters in the USA and over 2,000 employees across eighty sites worldwide is an authorized distributor for over 350 manufacturers, specialising in hard-to-source parts for the repair solutions aftermarket. Following recent acquisitions, Radwell now has over 250,000 new and obsolete spare parts in stock across 9.5 km2 of storage at its seven European sites in Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, Poland and the UK, enabling faster breakdown solutions for customers across the continent.

In Belgium, Radwell is seeking to expand its team of electronics engineers to provide repair solutions for industrial businesses across the country and all of Europe. Currently, the three-strong Belgium customer service team is supported by an extended multilingual team based in the UK, but the company is aiming to add more technical customer service roles at Sint-Truiden as it expands at the site.

“We sell and repair industrial electrical and electronic control devices including timers, counters, photoelectric sensors, circuit breakers, pushbuttons, PLCs, motors, speed control and any other devices used to make machinery run,” says Radwell’s Belgium Branch Manager, Wesley Maya. “Sectors we work in include vehicle manufacturers, chemical plants, food processing facilities, local authorities, government agencies, bakeries, power plants, amusement parks, exporters, plastic moulding and extruders, steel plants and a long list of other business sectors. The size and scale of our inventory now puts us in an unrivalled position for the provision of spare parts and repairs solutions in stressful breakdown situations. Dedicated to continuous improvement, Radwell’s operations team analyses all internal processes and implements changes, both automated and manual, to provide the very best service level possible for our customers. We are now looking to recruit further electronics engineers and customer service staff in the next six months as part of our expansion, creating up to ten jobs in Sint-Truiden.”

Radwell’s European capabilities are backed-up by a worldwide database of over 35 million spare parts. With warranties and extended warranty options on all products, shipped door-to-door 24/7, Radwell’s product inventory is backed-up by a multinational team of over 50 European-based engineers, speaking a total of 25 languages. The technology-enabled distribution model now makes the company a leading global provider of maintenance, repair and operations products, focused on the repair solutions aftermarket for critical components.
