Ruland and RotoPrecision team up in Canadian market
Shaft collars and couplings from Ruland in different types and sizes.
Marlborough, Massachusetts, 25 June 2010. Ruland Manufacturing Co., Inc. has entered into an agreement with RotoPrecision Inc., a Canadian-based provider of precision mechanical and power transmission components, to become Ruland's master distributor in Canada for Ruland's complete product range of shaft collars and couplings.
RotoPrecision is a privately held Canadian company founded in 1958 with branches located in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver, manufacturing facilities in the U.K. and Switzerland, and a specialty lubricants provider in Mississauga, Ontario. RotoPrecision is the exclusive Canadian representative for numerous manufacturers of precision-engineered components.
In announcing this new alliance in Canada, Gregg Robinson, President of RotoPrecision, commented: "We are very excited to add Ruland's excellent range of couplings and shaft collars to RotoPrecision's family of world-class products. Ruland was established in 1937. All Ruland products are manufactured in Ruland's Marlborough, MA factory under strict controls using proprietary processes and carefully selected materials. Ruland's complete product line includes shaft collars and rigid couplings and five types of zero-backlash motion control couplings: beam couplings, bellows couplings, oldham couplings, miniature disc couplings and curved jaw couplings.
