Iwis Drive Systems, LLC new headquarters in Indianapolis.
Indianapolis, 21 August 2009. Chain manufacturer Iwis Drive Systems, LLC has moved into new headquarters in Indianapolis, USA. The new 5,000 square metre company building consists of offices, dedicated assembly hall, chain testing laboratory, fabrication shop and inventory warehouse. The move was necessary due to considerable expansion, especially in the agricultural chain division.
Iwis Drive Systems, LLC, formerly Flexon USA, LLC, is part of the Iwis group, headquartered in Munich, Germany. The Iwis group is a leading manufacturer of precision chain systems for power transmission and product conveying applications. The full product program of the Iwis group comprises timing drive systems, precision and high-performance roller chains, conveyor chains, maintenance-free and corrosion-resistant chains, power and free conveyor chains, special-purpose conveyor chains and chains for agricultural machinery as well as chain wheels and accessories for machine and plant construction, the packaging, printing, food and beverages industries, material handling systems, and many other industrial applications.
